Music Review: Eleri Angharad – Earthbound

Eleri Angharad - Earthbound

Sometimes there isn’t anything better than the signature, upbeat and warming sound of Americana. Taking this much-loved genre and mixing it with some pop elements, talented singer/songwriter, Eleri Angharad and her single Earthbound is a wholesome, cleverly-composed and undoubtedly catchy tune.

Released back in April 2019, Eleri’s vocals are soft but strong with a stylistic edge. Crisp and clean, each note in the track has the potential to get those goosebumps going…

Driven by musical influences such as Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, the track’s instrumentation is rich with classic Americana sounds and a smooth guitar part rippling underneath the verses and choruses.

Having spent time travelling in North America, hitting major music hotspots such as Nashville and New York, the colourful storytelling that is evident in Eleri’s lyricism perfectly brings the track together to make for an Americana-pop wonder.

Good things are ahead for this upcoming artist and I’ll be listening!
